WAUCONDA, IL – Winter Thunder Challenge also known as WTC, the ISOC Illinois regional affiliate, is proud to announce that this year we’re adding to the excitement.
Semi-Pro classes will receive 80% payout again this year, but to add to the excitement, they are splitting the payout 70:10 with 70% going to the top three winners per event, with 10% going into a year end chase for the purse, and there will be an actual purse to haul home your winnings!
This year the excitement kicks off with their first night race of the season on December 17, 2011. There are several special events in the works, so please check back to their website for updates to their schedule.
WTC offers Nineteen levels of racing classes begin at the 120cc Stock class with riders as young as 4 years old. Racing continues to excite spectators as they watch all classes all the way up to our Semi-Pros and our Legends class for those 35 years (young) and above.
