For Immediate Release
Albertville, MN – November 1, 2017
The world’s greatest Snocross racers and their fans have another reason to get excited about the 2017-2018 season. The largest purse ever offered in the history of Snocross is on the line for racers at AMSOIL Championship Snocross, powered by RAM . More than three hundred thousand dollars in prize money is up for grabs at all 17 National Races this season. In addition to the increased payout, ISOC Racing is offering Sunoco Bucks to benefit all amateur racers. Sunoco Bucks is a contingency program, helping the top finishing amateur riders earn credit towards the purchase of Sunoco Race Fuel.
ISOC has always made it their number one priority to be the racer’s circuit and the highest purse in the history of the sport is just one more way to prove that. ISOC President, Carl Schubitzke, was a pro racer for a number of years. He knows first-hand what it’s like on the track, in the pits, and at home for Snocross racers.
Schubitzke revealed, “Racers have a tremendous amount of passion for what they do and they put on an amazing show. It takes a lot of energy and finances for a race team to prosper. The record purse this year is another step towards taking care of our racers and giving back to the sport.”
With the AMSOIL Snocross National presented by Kwik Trip only being 23 days away from Spirit Mountain, ISOC is preparing for what could be the biggest year ever. With multiple veteran racers and teams returning, along with a new wave of younger racers joining the sport, the greatest show on the snow is back and bigger than ever.
Pro Class champ Kody Kamm is back to defend his title and is ready to build off of last year’s success. Kamm declared, “I’m feeling good for this season. I am just ready to get back on the track and pick up right where I left off.”
