The AMSOIL Snocross National Presented by Kwik Trip has come and gone, but has also left us with many things to look forward to for the remaining rounds of AMSOIL Championship Snocross Powered by RAM. For starters, Rounds 1 & 2 at Spirit Mountain featured record attendance and an all time high of racer entries. The Pro Lite class showcased some of the best racing of the weekend. Arctic Cat riders Travis Kern and Daniel Benham were able to power there newly designed race sleds to wins in this class. With six podium positions available for the two days of racing in the Pro Lite class, each of the six positions were filled by different riders making this class one of the most anticipated as we get closer to Rounds 3 & 4 in Jackson, WY. The Pro AM Plus 30 riders raced on Friday and Saturday evening in Duluth. Friday saw USXC star, Wesley Selby take the win while former Pro, Paul Bauerly, took the win on Saturday. The fan favorite Pro AM Women’s class hit the racetrack Friday where reigning Champion Elina Ohman was able to take the win. The women also raced on Sunday when Megan Brodeur took her Ski-Doo to her first win of the season. The premier class at AMSOIL Championship Snocross was the only class to hit the snow all three days of the event. Friday was spotlighted by Kody Kamm earning $10,000 in the covenant AMSOIL Dominator. Once Saturday hit, the Pro class was back to conventional racing with two qualifiers and a main event. Tucker Hibbert was able to win both finals as Lincoln Lemieux took the third spot on the podium both days. The second position was filled by Kody Kamm on Saturday and Adam Renheim Sunday. The racing at Duluth featured many bar-to-bar battles and only excited us more for the Jackson Hole Snocross National Presented by Country Cat on December 8th and 9th.
