Sunday Night Snocross

Matt Skubic Uncategorized

With the Pirtek Snocross National Presented by Jimmy Johns in the books, AMSOIL Championship Snocross Powered by RAM nears the halfway point of the season. The next event will take place in historic Deadwood, SD on January 19th-20th. Although the racers may be focused on Rounds 7 & 8, this past weekends racing only gets us more excited for the races to come. In Round 5, Kody Kamm was able to end Tucker Hibbert’s streak of victories and earn his first win of the season. In Pro Lite, Jacob Yurk put on a great show for the fans by riding a flawless race on the demanding Canterbury Park racetrack and continue the dominance for Arctic Cat in Pro Lite. The fans came in huge numbers on Saturday to witness another epic ride by the 10x Champion in the Pro Class. Tucker Hibbert did not let Round 5 phase him as he was able to win the race with over an 8 second margin of victory. Daniel Benham also did not let the previous rounds bad luck get to him as he led Round 6 flag-to-flag to solidify himself as a true Championship threat. With the season in full swing look forward to names like Lincoln Lemieux, Petter Narsa and Logan Christian to battle for wins with the former Champions. The Pirtek Snocross National Presented by Jimmy Johns featured some of the best racing of the season. Read below to see a podium rundown, from an awesome weekend at the “Daytona of Snocross.”
