As the US Air Force Deadwood Snocross has come and gone, AMSOIL Championship Snocross Powered by RAM starts preparation for the second half of the season. The next event for racers and teams will take place February 16th-17th in Salamanca, NY for the US Air Force Snocross National at Seneca Allegany Resort & Casino. Despite the fact of Rounds 7 & 8 being completed, these rounds left us with much excitement about whats to come in the coming months. For example, Cole Cottew found his stride earning his first career Pro Lite victory and rattling off two top five finishes. In the Pro AM Women’s class, Taven Woodie solidified her first ever professional win in Round 7. An impressive feat for a rookie in the class. The FXR Sport class saw Scheuring Speed Sports rider, Francis Pelletier, sweep the weekend earning both first place trophies in the class. Finally, in the premier class Tucker Hibbert earned the top step of the podium both nights in the Black Hills. He would make a late race charge Saturday night passing the reigning champion of Kody Kamm to win in dramatic fashion. The sellout crowds at the US Air Force Deadwood Snocross witnessed the Greatest Show on the Snow once again. Stay tuned for the four remaining events to see who comes out on top in the points championships. Below is a podium rundown from Deadwood:
