Sunday Night Snocross

Matt Skubic Uncategorized

With only two rounds of AMSOIL Championship Snocross Powered by RAM events remaining, Daniel Benham & Tucker Hibbert have established healthy points leads after the Soaring Eagle Snocross National. Two days of exciting racing, thrilled the record crowds in Mt. Pleasant, as the Worlds Greatest Snocross Racers embarked on the huge track at Soaring Eagle Casino & Resort. Friday featured an epic race for Scheuring Speed Sports riders, Lincoln Lemieux & Tim Tremblay, as they solidified the top two spots on the premier Pro class podium. In the Pro Lite class, Jacob Yurk would run a near flawless race as he was able to earn the victory over Nisse Kjellstrom and Andy Lieders. Saturday in Round 12, Evan Christian and Anson Scheele would once again have great battles and be the highlight of the afternoon races in Michigan. As the sun set over the racetrack, the Pro Lite competitors were all chasing the Pro Lite points leader Daniel Benham. Benham would lead the race from flag-to-flag as he would extend his points lead Saturday evening. The Pro class showcased an excellent charge from Tucker Hibbert, as he passed the reigning champion, Kody Kamm, to earn his seventh win at the Soaring Eagle Snocross National. Before the series heads to Dubuque Iowa for Rounds 13 & 14 of the Theisen’s Snocross National, make sure to read below and get a podium recap from last weekends racing in Mt. Pleasant Michigan.
