Rider Incentive Program invests close to $40,000 into Snocross
ALBERTVILLE, MINN.~ RAM Trucks, the presenting sponsor of AMSOIL Championship Snocross, is investing close to $40,000 into its RAM Truck Rider Incentive Program for the upcoming snocross season.
The program will cover all amateur classes of snocross during the 2018-2019 schedule. Athletes who participate will have the opportunity to get their entire entry fees covered for the event, if they meet certain criteria. For 100% payback, a racer must finish in the top three of that day’s final, have the proper decal placements and drive a RAM truck to the event. For the 50% of the rider’s entry, athletes must finish in the top three and meet all the decal requirements. More details will be available at https://snocross.lab.b2tech.us/racer-support/.
The inclusion of the RAM program continues an upward trend in national level companies introducing or expanding their contingency programs within the snocross community. AMSOIL recently extended their offering and Makita Tools announced a new, robust package. Sunoco returns with their successful Sunoco Bucks program for all classes from Sport on down and soon we will be unveiling a cool Pirtek Performance Award.
Racers will also continue to benefit from a rich payout program that will total more than $230,000 this season. The Pro classes will see large payouts down through 15th place, on top of the already strong contingency programs in place within the series.
“We know it takes a lot to go racing, and we have been able to work some outstanding partners to increase our contingency offerings, as well as have a strong purse to work with,” said Carl Schubitzke, president of ISOC. “We encourage our teams to take advantage of the money that’s out there and support our partners.”
