January 2, 2012 – Minnesota’s own World Champion snowmobile snocross racer, Tucker Hibbert, is determined to deliver his home state fans an action-packed show in Shakopee this weekend. Canterbury Park Racetrack will feature rounds five and six of the world’s premier snocross series, the ISOC ACSS Tour, under the lights Friday and Saturday night.
Hibbert, the reigning Pro Open Champion, had a breakout performance at the last round of the ACSS Tour in Michigan after a rough season opener in Duluth Thanksgiving weekend. A three-week break in the schedule over the holidays allowed Hibbert and his team to spend time at the test track tuning his all-new Monster Energy/Arctic Cat Sno Pro 600 to further improve his race package.
This weekend will mark Hibbert’s seventh Pro appearance at Canterbury Park. At the past three Canterbury events, he captured six wins. This weekend, he is focused on solid qualifying and final event wins to gain valuable points for the 2012 Pro Open Points Championship.
Pro Open racing kicks-off at 6 p.m. Friday and Saturday night with the final events at 9:15 p.m. Fans can stream the event live online at www.ustream.tv/xsantv and catch the behind the scenes action on NBC Sports Sunday, February 5 at 5 p.m. EST.

“I’m looking forward to returning to Canterbury Park. It’s the perfect race venue for fans and always one of my favorite tracks on the tour. Having a break over the holidays allowed me to get a lot of seat time on the new chassis. Racing a new sled is always a challenge but really exciting at the same time. Everyday you learn something new. That’s the best part about racing – there’s always room to improve. I have a feeling Canterbury will feature some intense racing!”
