December 31, 2012 – After a three-week break from the national tour, Minnesota’s World Champion snocross racer, Tucker Hibbert, is prepared to compete at Canterbury Park this weekend in Shakopee. The historic horse racetrack will host the rounds five and six of AMSOIL Championship Snocross (ACS) under the lights Friday and Saturday night.

Last year at Canterbury, Hibbert captured his 68th career win in an intense battle in front of a record crowd. It was a milestone win for the racer who has donned the number 68 his entire professional career. He is focused on making this appearance just as memorable by continuing his win streak from the most recent ACS event where he won three of four qualifying rounds and both Pro Open final events.

Pro racing kicks-off Friday and Saturday at 6 p.m. Tickets are available online and at the gate. At home, fans can watch the action live online at ustream.tv/isoc and catch complete coverage of the event on CBS Sports Network January 27 and February 3.

“Canterbury has always been one of my favorite events. Racing at a big, first-class venue provides a really unique atmosphere for fans. For me, racing under the lights in front of a huge crowd ramps up the excitement level. It’s a good vibe.

I hope to carry my momentum from Michigan into Canterbury this weekend. The crew has my Monster Energy/Arctic Cat dialed-in. I can’t wait to get back to the races!”
